Cetrorelix acetate is an injectable gonadotropin-releasing hormone antagonist. A synthetic decapeptide, it is used to treat hormone-sensitive cancers of the prostate and breast (in pre-/perimenopausal women) and some benign gynaecological disorders (endometriosis, uterine fibroids and endometrial thinning).
